We know this, too: With only a few exceptions, gadget makers couldn’t innovate to save their skins. They happily clone whatever happens to be selling.So if we want those gizmos to meet real needs for either IT or our users, we’ll have to start coming up with ideas ourselves. read more »

Former Infinity CFO Stuart Steitt to lead new company

Fujitsu’s offer for Infinity Solutions has been ratified by the board of Infinity.

The new managing director of Fujitsu New Zealand — as the merged company will be known — is Stuart Steitt, previously chief financial officer of Infinity. He was a founding partner of that company. read more »
