Despite the market commentary around things quietening down the IT & T sector remains relatively buoyant. The permanent marketplace has quietened, but there is still the demand for certain skill-sets (Cisco Engineers / Java Developers). On the other hand there has been a surge in the need for contract resource which isn’t surprising given the uncertainly that is around currently. In short the demand for people continues and with a number of key pieces of work occurring in the Banking, Telecommunications and Utilities sectors it is likely to continue.
