NineTwenty has been shortlisted as a finalist in this year’s SEEK SARA NZ Awards. Recognising the best within the industry, these awards focus on the firms and teams that drive the sector’s reputation for professionalism, dedication and intuition. These awards recognise and celebrate the very best consultants, recruiters and industry experts from around the world, regardless of business size or reputation. Skill, integrity and client service are the key focus, not profits or location.
Dave Newick, NineTwenty’s National Manager, is ecstatic about being a finalist. “This recognition is a real achievement for everyone involved across the company. Since NineTwenty became part of the Finite Group in early 2016, there has been success on a number of fronts. To see that excellence rewarded by being a finalist for this award is really satisfying for everyone involved. Our New Zealand teams are prolific, passionate and powered by purpose, which shows in their results and their ongoing energy in the market. The recognition of their contribution to the Group, and their own success, is a strong signal that we’re on the right track. It’s also a real motivator to continue delivering our incredible level of service as we move forward.”
A tradition of award success
NineTwenty’s place as a finalist continues the Finite Group’s history of success at the SARA Awards. Group MD Tracy Thomson was honoured as Recruitment Leader Of The Year in 2016. Finite won the Large IT Recruiter category in 2010, and was a finalist in 2011. Finite has also won twice at The Australian Business Awards, and was recently named Best Specialist Recruitment Business Asia Pacific at the Global Recruiter Awards in Singapore.
The SEEK SARA Awards celebrate the ongoing excellence within the recruitment industry. The SARAs recognise and celebrate innovation, leadership, professionalism and best practice within the recruitment sector, with finalists having demonstrated their extensive ability to “foster relationships, solve problems, communicate effectively and adapt to change”.
This year’s winner will be announced at a special ceremony on November 23 at the Auckland Museum Atrium Room, Parnell, Auckland. Our fingers are crossed!
