The Finale saw Josh battle it out with fellow finalists Aaron Bird, Garth Davis, Catherine Parker, Hennie Basson (filling in for Bradley Owen) and 920’s Wild Card entry, Chris Corke.

In true rock ‘n’ roll style the contestants smashed monitors to oblivion with a sledgehammer, then showed their IT prowess and did their best at repairing the damage they had caused… Proved for some interesting entertainment! The finalists were then asked a series of ‘pageant’ style questions which then followed with some impromptu dancing and karaoke to the crowds pleasure!

The judges had some tough decisions to make but by the end of the night they had reached a unanimous decision with Josh. Drupal geeks the world over will now be very proud!

Ninetwenty would like to give special thanks to our amazing panel of judges - Brett Roberts (Microsoft), Rhoda Holmes (Optimation), Scott Green (Axon), Mauricio Freitas (Geekzone) and last years winner Adam Brown. Their job was a tough one and the outcome they reached couldn’t have been better!
